jolly holiday, part two

Family photos. We love 'em. We would do them every single day if we could. Just kidding! But sometimes you have to do more family photos than you mean to. We missed Harper and Carter at Gardner Village so we cooked up another "photo shoot" a few days later. Chaos. This was the best group photo we got of all four kids, but at least baby Carter was upright, Sloane did not have her finger in her nose,  Harper was not crying and Tagg did not have his scowl on. Hey, it's something.

Yeah, candy. Nothing. Dolls, nothing. Mommy and Daddy doing crazy dances behind the camera, nothing. Make faces?! They're in. Lovely photos.

Yep. That's the best of the group kid photos. You'd think we didn't have a whole bunch of candy and stuff behind the camera. And, yes, all of the kids have sweet little Christmas jammies on, and Tagg has Star Wars PJ's. About 3 sizes too big, but at least they're red so they can pass for festive.

Again, did I mention that there was candy bribery, crazy parental dancing and cheering behind the camera, and other insanity happening - and THIS was about the best smiley photo we could get of all 4 kids. It's CHRISTMAS, little people! Put on a smile, kay?

 When you're the only guy in the house, sometimes you have to be a little goofy. Or real.

Tears. Those are real. Nothing that candy or hugs could fix. A nap probably made the difference. Harper is such a little love with such a big heart and a goofy personality, so when she's got crocodile tears, your heart just breaks. 

 This guy. He ASKED to wear the Santa hat. Where was that a few years ago?

Oh...riiiigghhhhtttt!!!! Now I remember. That Santa hat suits him.
