Trick or Treat

The Princess Leia hat that came with Sloane's costume
was cheap and ugly. What to do? Etsy to the rescue!
This little knit cap was adorable! And then I found out Auntie Leese
could have made it for like a dollar. She still wears it around.
Should be good for skiing.

Tagg absolutely LOVED his Stormtrooper costume.
He would wear it every day if he could. And he probably does
wear it at least once a week. We do have light saber fights about 3 times a week.
I'm getting pretty good but somehow Tagg always still wins.

Grama and Bompa wanted one cute photo with the kids.
This one with Grama as a Stormtrooper was my fave...

...but this one is probably the cutest of them all.
They had glow sticks for Halloween and were
entirely too distracted to cheese for the camera.
But Grama and Bompa look good!

Our pumpkin patch...the googly-eye painted pumpkins handmade
by Tagg and Sloane, and a couple of Mum-kins (mummy pumpkins).

Let the candy fest begin! What a beautiful day for
trick-or-treating, 75 and sunny and perfect.

Sloane insisted on the pink boots. I like to think Princess Leia
would be proud or maybe she was just honoring the fact
that Leia is now in fact a Disney princess.

A moment of Halloween trauma and tears. One house we went to had a scary ghost
on a string and some spooky music and Tagg got really, really scared.
Poor little thing. The ghost had a BYU sign on it so we were told him it was a
good Ute ghost and everything was fine. That seemed to work.
Oh, and we told him ghosts were no match for a Stormtrooper.
