Tagg the Golfer

Memorial Day weekend was not exactly the balmy summer welcome-to-summer weekend we were all hoping for. It was cold and rainy and generally crap weather. But Monday the sun broke through and we hit the golf course for 9 holes. Along with pretty much every one else in Salt Lake City. The course was packed and we waited for over an hour to get our tee time, and then proceeded to wait at every hole. Dear ol' dad, the volunteer course marshal, could hardly contain himself.
We had to wrap Tagg up in my sweatshirt, which ended up looking a little more like a dress than a sweatshirt but at least he was warm. He had a blast - driving the cart, keeping score (just the way we like it...no real numbers!), hiding all the tees in his pockets, and rolling down the hills with daddy. Not exactly appropriate golf course etiquette but when you're waiting 15 minutes at every tee, you gotta do something to keep entertained.
Papa was teaching Tagg proper form with his little dude club. Tagg is getting the hang of it but his golf style is a little more Happy Gilmore than Tiger Woods. Maybe hockey will be a better fit for him.
By hole 8, someone was out of gas. Fortunately the golf cart makes a nice nap spot.
And this is the face of pure exhaustion. Cute little buddy! Lovely day with the fam!
